Brief Explanation
UnseenChat is designed for end-to-end encrypted chat, and tries to reduce the required account data as much as possible. We use phone-number login, do not require address book upload, do not sell personal data, and do not build advertising profiles. But in order to create accounts, deliver encrypted messages, prevent abuse, send push notifications, and operate the service, we still need to process some necessary metadata.
Account and Login Data
How old you must be to use our service depends on your country or region. The minimum age at which you can use our service without parental consent may be higher in some countries or regions. To use UnseenChat, you must register an account. To create an account, you must use your phone number to register for our service. You agree to receive SMS messages and phone calls containing verification codes from us or from our third-party service providers, so that you can register and use our service. User data privacy. UnseenChat will not sell, rent, or use your phone number in any way to make profit.
Messages
UnseenChat cannot decrypt or read your plaintext chat content. Message content is encrypted before it leaves your device. The server is responsible for forwarding encrypted messages. If the recipient is temporarily offline, encrypted messages may be briefly queued on the server while waiting for delivery. Your message history is stored on your device.
Account Deletion
If you create an account, you can delete the account where the app provides an account deletion entry. Deleting the account will remove the server-side account record and related service data that we no longer need to keep, including sessions, public prekeys, push tokens, queued offline messages, and related upload records and stored media that can technically be cleaned up. Children
UnseenChat is not intended for children under 13. If we discover that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page, and the “Last updated” date will be updated.
